For some time, Tiger Woods was an example of my heroes. He epitomized superiority. Okay, I am not excellent, however, if a heroic public figure is found to be so negatively impacted, it does take the hero out of heroism. Almost all one has left is “-ism” — idiot, brainless, moron. Is he a fantastic golfer? You bet he’s. In all likelihood he will always be viewed as one of the best ever.
